Many assume prints are “one-click generated.” At Wingtu Lounge, an original pattern goes through four or five steps from inspiration to finished product.
1. Inspiration gathering
Our designers source from life — an autumn walk, the texture of an old fabric, even a coffee latte art. Inspiration is never limited to “homewear.”
2. Hand-draw & digitize
Sketches are drawn by hand, then scanned and processed digitally. This step decides the pattern’s breathing room and brushstroke warmth — the part stock assets can never copy.
3. Color & sampling
Color isn’t picked at random. We print small samples repeatedly and check fabric-and-color relationships under natural light — because red on a screen and red on cotton are simply not the same.
4. Wear testing
A pattern has to “wear well.” We test on different body types and skin tones to confirm it still looks good in motion, not just in a flat lay.
5. Safe print process

We control how many patterns each season to avoid overproducing for the sake of “newness”; we prefer biodegradable natural fibers (organic cotton, Modal) to carry the prints; and our print processes are low-water and low-emission wherever possible.
